About ClearQR

ClearQR is a small, focused tool: a free QR code generator built specifically for freelancers and small business owners, rather than a generic catch-all for every possible QR use case.

Why we built it

Most QR generators try to serve everyone at once: marketers running trackable campaigns, developers embedding codes into products, individuals making one-off codes for a party. ClearQR instead focuses on the handful of QR types a small business actually reaches for: a website link, a WhatsApp chat, a digital business card, a Google review request, an email, and a social profile.

How it works

ClearQR creates static QR codes. The information you enter (a URL, a phone number, contact details) is encoded directly into the QR code's pattern, so the generated code doesn't depend on ClearQR's servers to keep working. The destination itself, though, still needs to remain available: if you delete the page a QR code points to, the code will still scan, but visitors will land on a dead link. If you need to change the destination later, create a new QR code; a static code can't be redirected after it's printed.

What it isn't

ClearQR doesn't offer dynamic or trackable QR codes, scan analytics, saved brand kits, or team accounts. Those all require a backend and an account system, which runs counter to the "open it and use it" simplicity we're aiming for. If that changes, it'll be because real users asked for it, not because it looked good in a feature list.

Who's behind it

ClearQR is built and maintained by Muhammad Mudassar Saeed and Rimsha Kiran. The idea is simple: create a QR code generator that's genuinely easy to use, with no login, no account, and no unnecessary steps between you and your finished QR code. If you have any questions, feedback, or suggestions, feel free to reach out anytime through the contact page.
