Style

Keep sufficient whitespace around the QR code for reliable scanning.

Higher error correction can help when a QR code is partially obscured, but it produces a denser pattern.

A single social profile QR code only ever points to one place. This generator is for when you want to hand someone all of your profiles at once, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube, without printing six separate codes or picking just one to feature.

Fill in whichever platforms apply; scanning opens one page listing every link you've added, each clearly labeled and tappable. See the FAQ below for exactly how that works without ClearQR running any kind of backend or database.

How to create a Social Media Hub QR Code

  1. Paste a profile link for any platforms you want to include: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, or YouTube.
  2. Optionally give any link a custom label, like "Behind the scenes" instead of just "Instagram."
  3. Optionally add a page heading, like your business name.
  4. Style and download the code, then test it by scanning before printing or publishing.

Customizing your QR code

You don't need to fill in every platform, just the ones that are actually active. A hub with three well-maintained profiles reads better than one padded out with dead or rarely updated accounts. Since this is a static code, swap out a stale link for a live one whenever it changes rather than leaving it pointing somewhere abandoned.

Where to use a Social Media Hub QR Code

Testing your QR code

Before printing or publishing any QR code, test it yourself: scan it with your phone's camera from a normal viewing distance and confirm it opens the destination you intended. If you're printing it small or on a textured surface, test that exact size and material. A code that scans easily on a screen can struggle once it's shrunk onto a napkin or embossed on packaging.

Static QR codes, explained

ClearQR creates static QR codes. The information you enter (a URL, a phone number, contact details) is encoded directly into the QR code's pattern, so the generated code doesn't depend on ClearQR's servers to keep working.

The destination itself, though, still needs to remain available: if you delete the page a QR code points to, the code will still scan, but visitors will land on a dead link. If you need to change the destination later, create a new QR code; a static code can't be redirected after it's printed.

Privacy

QR information is processed locally in your browser and isn't uploaded to ClearQR's servers, including any logo image you upload. ClearQR does not currently use analytics or cookies.

Frequently asked questions

How does one QR code open a page with all my links, without ClearQR running a server?

The links you enter are encoded directly into the QR code as part of a URL to a single static page on ClearQR (getclearqr.com/social-links) that's identical for every user. That page reads the specific links and labels straight out of the URL itself and displays them, entirely in the visitor's browser. Nothing is stored on a server or in a database; the QR code carries all the data itself, the same as any other static QR code ClearQR generates.

Why not just encode a downloadable page directly into the QR code?

That's technically possible using a data: URI, but it scans unreliably in practice: Chrome on Android and several third-party QR scanner apps block or refuse to open that kind of link. Pointing to a real https:// address, as this generator does, opens consistently on any phone.

Which platforms can I include?

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube. Leave any of them blank and they simply won't appear on the linked page.

Can I change the links after the QR code is printed?

No. The destination itself, though, still needs to remain available: if you delete the page a QR code points to, the code will still scan, but visitors will land on a dead link. If you need to change the destination later, create a new QR code; a static code can't be redirected after it's printed. If a link changes, generate and print a new code rather than trying to edit the old one.

Is my information stored by ClearQR?

QR information is processed locally in your browser and isn't uploaded to ClearQR's servers, including any logo image you upload. ClearQR does not currently use analytics or cookies. The links are only ever stored inside the QR code itself and the page URL it points to, not on any ClearQR server.
